Prayer for Crossing the Desert

Spirit of the unstilled world,
rock of solitude,
mock our selves with brightness.
Redeem the bones
which no longer strive
towards such things.
Rejoice for those
who chose forgetfulness,
the lost sea voices,
exhausted,
and cannot hope to care.
